Celebrating the Language and Cultural Diversity of Africa: AFLC 2025 Kicks Off This February

Awareness and Advocacy:

Raise awareness about the importance of African languages and their inclusion in education, media, and public discourse, while collaborating with governmental and non-governmental organizations to shape policies that protect and promote them.

Community Engagement and Collaboration:

Foster dialogue and collaboration among language professionals, activists, and communities to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices, while hosting annual conferences, workshops, and cultural events that celebrate African languages and their societal impact.

Capacity Building and Education:

Offer training, resources, and support to language activists and educators to strengthen their ability to teach and promote African languages, while creating and distributing educational materials in multiple African languages to enhance learning and literacy
